I went ahead and changed my tranny fluid. And I use Valvoline Max Life Dexron III/Mercon ATF. I just want to make sure this will work with my tranny. It says on the back of the container that it exceeds requirements for Mercon. And it said Mercon on the bottle. So is this ok? I figured since I use Valvoline Durablend motor oil, and it's done very well so far, I'd just stick with Valvoline products. So is Valvoline Max Life ATF w/Dexron III/Mercon ok to use with my 5-speed manual tranny? Thanks for any info.
