Transmission HELP
Transmission HELP
I have a 2000 f150 5.4 I believe its the 4R70W and with 77K miles.
The transmission seems to take forever to kick out of first gear.
Its sounds like the engine is being forced like if I was towing something up hill.
I believe from a complete stop to a steady acceleration around 2000 RPMs first gear would kick into second now its kicking into secound gear about 4000 RPMs. Also the truck doesn't seem to pick up speed quick enough like it used to.
JUST FOR SAYING: say I used to go from 0-60 in 5 sec now I,m hitting 0-60 in 10 sec
I just changed fluid and filter SEEMS a little better but not very much.
Any specific thing I should check or is transmission going BAD.
Please help me on this crisis
