Code 628 excessive converter slipage
Old but certainly not dead '93 F150 flareside, gives a real kick in the pants when shifting from 1st to 2nd. Took to tranny shop, they want to replace $1800.
Love the truck 120K and still looks and runs good. Anyone have any thoughts on what to do?
A new SCREW in the driveway would look nice too, but would prefer a workaround.
