cooler installed

After reading some posts here last night, what I thought was my trans. cooler is actually the power steering fluid cooler.I am glad I found out now instead of later.I have towed with my truck for about a year without one"just lucky I guess".I am having an auxiliary cooler installed tommorrow.Hope this helps keep the heat down.According to the VIN # I have a 4r70-w tranny.

Sounds like a good idea cond81! You may also want to invest in a FT valvebody or shift kit to also aid in keeping your transmission fluid cool. Good Luck.

Where can you get a FactoryTech Valve Body? I've tried to email him, but haven't had any luck.

He normally does e-mail around 3:00 AM on the weekdays from my experience. Did you use his peoplepc.com address?

Thanks for the insight. That's kinda weird that he emails at 3 AM. Does he sleep? Oh, it's 2:28 AM, and I have Lab tomorrow at 8! I used his f150online signat. email.

Right on!
