Clutch Problem

I have a 88' f-150 with the 300 6cyl 4x4. The clutch was replaced about 6mo ago by the previous owner but now I can't shift gears. I found that the resivoir was empty so tried filling and bleeding but now I have no pedal at all it just stays on the floor, also the fluid level did not drop much when trying to bleed. The shifting problem went from good to bad in about a week. I cannot see any visible signs of leakage on the master cylinder. What should my next step be or what should i replace.

You said the clutch was replaced, but I wonder if they replaced the slave cylinder. they have a internal slave cylinder which are bad about leaking, probally why the clutch master cylinder went dry. The system is now air locked. with a bad slave clyinder you probally won't get the air bled out. Try opening the bleeder on the slave cylinder & leave it open until you get nothing but a stream of fluid out of it. close the bleeder & pump the clutch pedal several times until you start to feel the pedal start to rise. Might have to do this several times until all the air is out. Hope this helps!
