?s about shift kit for 984x4

Fellas,

I've been trying to gather info for this for a little while. I've read some of the posts about it and I think this is what I would like to do in order to prolong the life of my tranny and take out some of the grandpa/luxery car shift it has. I have a 98 5.4 4x4, my tranny code on the door is "E" the tranny has a drain plug factory installed so from all this I believe it to be a 4R100. Is trans-go the only co that makes a shift kit for it? I've used/installed B&M shift kits in the past and I like those pretty well. If trans-go is the only co that makes one, where is the best place to purchase it? I've seen some of the threads that say "omitt this spring, do install this check ball but don't install this one, drill this hole this size for a firm but not neck snapping shift" could someone please point me to this thread? Thanks in advance for the help.

This isn't the thread you mentioned, but it's good all the same.
A little disclosure, I wrote it, adn I don't pretend to be unbiased, but I make a pretty good part, and it's very easy to install, no drilling, no check ***** etc...
