Flash Update PCM
I didn't want to mess up that other thread so I thought I'd ask here.
Can someone tell me something about the Flash Update.
How do I get it?
What does it do exactely?
And most important , what does it cost?
Software versions?

The Flash Update is an enhancement to your factory program. If Ford has any updates they can load it into your PCM via the OBDII port under the dash.
They've updated mine a couple of times over the last few years for various things. I never noticed any add'l cost on my ticket for that service. It's usually part of the diagnostic process.
Never really would've known, unless they told me they did it. Your dealer is the only one as far as I know that can perform that function.
