Should brake controller always be on?
Should brake controller always be on?
Simple question, but just hooked up a Tekonsha brake controller on my '97 Expy and the light never came on when I turned the key on. Should the light on the unit always be on? Or only when I hook up to the trailer? Want to make sure I didn't get a dud controller or something.

Well, I got an Ebay special brake controller, which means, no manual. But, I decided to hook up the trailer and walla... It works!
Well, so far anyway, havent tried to brake with it yet!

I dunno, buying used braking equipment on e-bay?
I guess it will be allright but, for the record, never, I mean never, buy used bungee jumping equipment!
(I swear, I got to watch you people every second)
