Question trying to hook up brake controller

I just got a Tekonsha Voyager for my '97 Expy with factory tow package. how do you hook up the brake controller? I see the wiring coupling under the dash, but it has 5 wires leading to it. My brake controller only has 4. Do I need the fifth one? I think it's green. Any body hook one of these up before?
Thanks.

Do you have the connector that plugs under the dash? It's a separate wire harness. This will have the corresponding wires that you connect to the controller and 'should' have them labled as to what they are for. I got one from the Ford dealer for $12.00.

Blue is for the trailer brakes. White is ground. Green is the stop lamp (brake light). Red is the feed from the battery. Black is the illumination (probably the one that's NOT on the controller. At least mine doesn't have one.)

thanks! That makes a difference! I almost hooke it up wrong. I don't have the wiring harness from Ford, just thought I'd wire them in directly.
