Voyager Brake Controller

I've installed a Tekonsha Voyager brake controller and I am at the point of attaching it to the bracket. Has anyone installed one of these and if so, do you put the screws through the plastic on the controller? The instructions are a little non discriptive and I'd hate to screw it up but I don't see any other way to do it.

Thanks,
Tim

Hi Trk

Maybe you already figured it out? Yes, you just use the (short) screws that are supplied...screw right into plastic case.

If you have used controller before thats a plus...if not...just follow the directions...set the level etc....do some test runs etc...not a real fancy controller but does work ok. Just takes alittle getting used to setting voltage to brakes. LED changes color when increase/decrease voltage.

Been using voyager for 2+yrs..works ok for me once i learned how to finesse the voltage and no black tire marks.

Good luck...OT

Question LIGHT???

I installed my voyager, but havent used it yet. Does y'alls light light up when not hooked to trailer or only when hooked up?

My light doesnt come on even when I apply brakes when not hooked to trailer.

Hi Scooby

Maybe you already found out? The LED (green) light comes on after you make hookup from TT to truck. Naturally if it dosent light up...gotta recheck connections etc.

It stays on untill you disconnect.

Good luck...OT
