What did you tow last?

I hauled this car from Huntington Beach to Sacramento last weekend. The truck handled it without any problem or strain.

It is a 1958 MGA and that is not me in the picture!

We got great trucks!

The last thing I hauled? A 65' crank-up antenna tower w/ collapsed height of around 27'. Strapped the tower to a dolly and mounted a hitch to the top end of the tower.

Last thing I towed was about an hour ago. It's the boat in my sig.

I had to go over the lake and look out and see me not on it. It was sad.

Took a Prelude from Atlanta to Houston and was bringing a 73 Dart Swinger back and we ended up in the woods with that one. Those dang LA roads, ive always hated them.

I towed a '71 IH Scout with a tow bar. I didn't even know the Scout was there. Toed it 300+ miles....my fuel mileage sure went way down.

Last Oct. I pulled from Spanaway Washington to Loomis Washington and back. About 720 miles round trip through two passes each way, Snolqualmie and Bleuitt Passes. Total combined G.V.W. of 18,790 lbs. and I still got about 14-15 mpg. 97 F-250 Powerstroke. The thing I like the most is we never droped below 60 mph,I love this truck. This is a trip I make every year for hunting.

Grizzly,

Did you get anything?

By the way, I only get 14-15 MPG when I'm on the highway and driving 55-60. It's amazing what those Powerstrokes can do.

No sir, I came home with nothing more then a few grouse. Its a three point minimum in that area and all I ran across was two point and doe. Was up in the high country looking for the mules but no luck this year. I did get a spike blacktail on this side of the hill though, 110 lbs of meat out of a blacktail spike, now that put a big smile on my face. Getting back to the trucks though, that is the most I have towed with my rig, typicly we scale in at under 16,000 lbs combined. The truck itself is 7,000. I really haven't done any towing with the wifes truck yet, the 98 F-150. Any time we need to tow anything we just use my rig, the 97 Powerstroke, so I really don't know just how well it tows. One of these days I will give it a try though.

2 WKA racing go-Karts. The mods on these karts far out number any mods I've ever done on any of my cars or trucks.

We've had the highly modified and then restricted 5hp briggs going well over 45 mph lap after lap(1/5th mile). We, sons and I, won the championship and placed 2nd in points in the sprint division. The kids, ages 8 and 10, race wheel to wheel with 4 to 20 other kids. I'm proud of them
