2014 eco towing question.

guys I’m looking at buying a 2014 eco with 35in tires on it. I believe it has the 3.55 gears. My boat weighs about 4500lbs. Single axle trailer. Will this set up be ok?
The truck is 2014 4x4 XTR. It has the hitch installed allready. Along with the trailer brakes up on the console. My next question is there are tow packages, does this truck have that package? I believe they all have a trans/oil cooler but if the truck has that tow package it might have different gears. I tow my boat 3 hours on flat Illinois highways. Usually 70mph. Will I be ok with this. First time ecoboost owner..
any other concerns?
Thanks

Should not be a problem. You do know - the XTR is a Canadian model?

3.55's were standard with the tow package. Is the brake controller a factory controller integrated with the PCM? Whether it is or not, the weight you are towing is well within the ratings of the truck whether it has a tow package or not.

You should not exceed 65 mph when towing a single axle trailer. That's the fastest the tires and axles are rated for.

4500 lbs as your truck is equipped shouldn’t be an issue to tow 4500 lbs. I’m guessing this is a dual axle trailer so the trailer brakes will certainly help.

He says it's a single axle trailer in the original post.
