How did you dump it? I was thinking this weekend about getting a large siphon pump to drain instead of breaking the tailgate

Ah, Patman beat me too it

Looks like a fun time and no damage, cool. But yeah, I'll second the inquiry on draining. I was thinking siphon as well, already had the hose out there. That or bucket bailing, but that sounds like work

By the looks of that tailgate and the rest of the truck, I don't think he is that concerned about the tailgate.

some what correct.
i just pulled the handle and slowly let it down so it wouldnt slam open. of course there was a lot of weight behind it, but nothing a 180lbs man couldnt hold with his feet planted well.
i just slowly let it down and let the water pour out. It starts going out the corners first, keeping you some what dry. but you will get wet eventually.

now my friends and i are thinking of ways to improve the next party.
a grill obviously.
i, myself, would like to add a canopy and some how rig up some PVC pipes with holes attached to an air compressor for some jet action.
also planning on having more than one truck side by side for some floating beer pong...or 'battleshots'...heh.

maybe throw in some glow sticks for night swimming...?
who knows how silly we'll get.

post your truck pools and ideas here. lets get ridiculous this summer!
