Replacement Tow Mirrors?

Anybody got suggestions for a good replacement mirror for a 2006 SCAB? I like the **** slide-ons, but I like the permanent options too. I know of Kool Vue mirrors. Also, I know you can get some on Ebay from the "racing guy store". Anybody know if these 2 mirrors are the same and/or can you recommend the best mirror to purchase. I think I"m leaning towards the Kool Vue brand unless somebody recommends different. The only thing I don't like about these is the fact that they are so square. The Ebay ones look more rounded but I can't tell if they are the same or not.

Those mirrors are the OEM f150 mirrors on the latest body style. Its common for guys that dont have tow mirrors to put thos on their 04-08 trucks. IMHO those would look th best on your truck it would look like it came with them from the factory.

I'm interested in those same mirrors for my 09 from the same seller. Please post what you find out.

Thanks!

I've done a TON of research and actually have a similar thread going in the 04-08 forum. I basically found out that Tasca Auto Parts is about the only place you can get the mirrors guaranteed OEM. All the others (kool vue, ****, Racing Guys via EBay) are "almost" identical but are replications. The only other place to ensure they are OEM is to get them from your dealer, and I PROMISE you....you won't want to do that. My dealer wanted twice the money.

I got a pair from Tasca for $346 shipped....only about $40 than the other brands. I placed the order today. Looking forward to getting them on the truck.

Oh and the part number for an 04-08 is 7L3Z-17682-AE and I think 7L3Z-17683-AE. These are really made for '07 to '10 models, but you can still get full functionality with a couple of terminal switches on the plug.
