Question Aux. Fuel Tank?

Does anybody make a chassis mounted auxiliary fuel tank for the F150? Or even an oversized replacement tank? All I've been able to find are the in-bed mounted tanks. I'm going to be traveling a good deal this summer towing a camper and I'm not crazy about the single tank and short (225-275 mile) range.

Thanks,
Bill

Bill:

Check out this site.

http://www.transferflow.com/

They have one for the F-150 that requires relocating the spare tire.

That site lists them, but only for non-OBD-II equipped vehicles?!?! The only problem is that all 97+ F-150s are OBD-II Equipped?!?! Actually, I believe the propane trucks might not have the OBD-II sensor on the tank, but then, they can't use it anyhow?!?! So What the Fruck? I love the idea of being able to go 450 miles between fill-ups, but I haven't found one yet.

Any other ideas?

If you read it (transfer-flow's web site) carefully, it seems to only apply to SD trucks.

97-2k1 extra fuel

I am also looking for one and I just came across a place in California,I believe, that sells a 49 gallon replacement for the reg cab 8 ft box or extended cab 6 ft box that uses all the factory hardware. I will check the truck magazines I have. I know it was in an ask the editorial section. If anyone else knows where it was before I get back to my home please help.
