So I was all stoked about finding an aftermarket male plug for a brake controller at Pep Boys that went into the female end under the dash of my truck. Thought there might be SOME wierd day that I would want to use the controller on the Explorer it came off of, decided to see if I could get the female plug from the dealer. After a god-awful quote for the whole wiring harness ("we don't do sub-assemblies"), called around to find a late model frame at a U-pick-it junkyard. Only one in the area, (are we that careful with our babies?). Lucky for me, THAT '99 had the tow package, thus the female plug under the dash! Two bucks, cash and carry!

So now the Explorer is ready to haul the utility trailer again, should the need arise.

Just sharing with my buds who understand why this makes me so happy (Mrs. Cat just shook her head).

Was lookin for some cool wheels for the Kids first car. A 96 Nissan Altima. Searched my web rescources and what happens? I hit on a set of five spoke aluminum rims in a junk yard in Kentucky. I calls em up and they send me a picture and wonder of all wonders, they say shipping to you is $20! For all four of em!! And they want $100 for the set includes center caps and chrome lug nuts too!!! What a joy that was. They look kewl.
