I have done my homework, bought the right equipment and installed it correctly. We happly go camping whenever we can and have turned more than 90 deg. both forward and backwards.

PM me if you need more information...
Please get back to me with details of what you used! I have a 5.5ft box FORD F150 and we want a fifth wheel.

What gears do you have 3.55 or 3.73? And do you have air bags?
How much does your trailer weight?

I have 3.73s. They come with the Max Tow package. It is the electric locker type also. I do have air bags but only put about 20 psi or less air in them when the trailer is on the truck as if it is any more it is too stiff and raises the back too high. Our trailer (2013 Cougar X-Lite 29RES) is about 7550 empty and camping ready it is about 8500-8700 with the fresh water tank full (behind axle) and grey(s) and black tanks empty. Just my wife and I for weekends so we pack relatively light.

YMMV & Happy Camping

I would love to know any information that lead to you installing this on your f150. My name is Parker call me at 585-698-7670 or reply to phenry3313@gmail I have 13 f150 ecoboost that tows my bumper pulled 26' trailer even when it is fully loaded my truck doesn't care, does not struggle to do anything but not speed. I want a gooseneck as I transport for side work, and get offered jobs that I can't do because I do not have one yet. I hear people say I shouldn't but I have seen the short bed with gooseneck trailers. I seen a 98/99 f150 with St least a 35' trailer the other day he had full size cab and small bed. I have full size cab and 5'5" bed . you truck loos just like mine but better with that set up.
