Totally new to towing- hitch/ball recommendation?
I've done some searching and stalked the posts over the last couple months but I've found myself still struggling to answer the simple stuff on my own-
2010 F150 GVWR 7200.
From the hitch-
WD 10,500 trailer wt 1,050 tongue
WC 5,000 trailer wt 500 tongue
I am moving in 3 weeks and I'm planning on picking up an enlosed trailer (6'x12' ish) that I'll keep for a while in case of hurricane evacs.
What do you guys recommend for a good WD+anti sway setup that won't set me back too much?

6x12 sounds like a single axle trailer with about 3500 pounds GVW. I'd skip WD/Sway control if that is the case. Just get a proportional brake controller. If a tandem axle, then WD/Sway is a good idea. Equal-i-zer.

Check out resale value if you think you might resell. A friend had a hard time selling a clean, almost new, single axle enclosed trailer. It seemed that most of the people that answered his ad wanted a double axle. May have just been bull from tire kickers. 7 x 14 has 26 sq ft (1/3) more floor space than a 6 x 12.
