Prodigy

Has anyone installed the prodigy in the cubby hole in the dash in a 2003 F-150? I put it on the bottom of the dash between the diagnostic port and the brake pedal, however my wife is very short and when she pulls the seat fowward it hits her leg. We all know the rest of the story, installed one day and uninstalled the next.

I posted the same question late last year, but never got a firm answer. I do know that the P3 fits nicely, as I just installed mine last month. You can see pics of the install HERE.

It works as advertised mounted there, and that doesn't surprise me, as it's far more horizontal than mounting it on the face.

The Prodigy did not look to be too much different in size. Slide it in and see. If it fits well, post up some pics, and maybe others with the same question will have a good resource in the future.

Andy

P.S. Be sure to check for SWMBO knee clearance before firmly mounting, as it will extend out a bit.

That's were I put my prodigy in my o3 and I drilled ahole in the back to put my wire through and used the hanger at the front of it to mount it.I fits great there and is out of the way.

I guess I should state that I,too, drilled a hole in the back of the pocket for the wiring to pass through. (The wire you see in the picture runs form the cig lighter to my Garmin.)

I mounted my P3 under the dash.
