Car dolly
Car dolly
I need to pull a recent purchase a 95 f150 4x4 reg cab long bed home witch is about 10 miles I have a couple options but a car dolly is looking the best right now.
my question is what kinda tongue weight can I expect? I dont think it would be that much. I dont have a receiver so I have to use my bumper.
If I have to I can get a car hauler but it would be pulled by a chevy

Your bumper should be able to handle a #500 tongue weight and #5000 'trailer'...
I don't suspect there will be much in the way of tongue weight either, as the design of a tow dolly is to put all the weight over it's tires.
Now, your total weight will be close, but for only 10 miles, I wouldn't even think twice of it.... Heck, I'd probably just flat tow the thing with a tow strap! Of course, the 95 needs to be able to steer and brake and you need another person who won't rear end you!
Good luck!

For just 10 I would back it up there, turns better be wide too
I pulled a little car 600 miles with one, started out at 60mph but by mile 400 I was running 75+. You will be fine.
One time on the freeway I saw a Ice Cream truck pulling a Cheve Dually on one!!!!

I towed an 85 RX-7 (RWD, manual trans, 2400 pounds, plus spare pars/tires inside) for about 800 miles, Detroit to Boston in neutral. I upgraded the tow vehicle brakes before that trip, but it was an easy drive. You'll have a lot more weight to stop.
For 10 miles, I'd probably use a tow strap.
