My knowledge of Lariat's is limited, but does your truck already have the tow package?
If it does, its just a simple plug and play if you buy an adapter for a given brake controller. My Prodigy was as simple as pie. Just found a location for it, mounted it up, and plugged it in.
If not, you may have to do some splicing into the wiring harness.
