U Piece of chit (UPS) open the door I have a package for you, lol. Look what I got in the mail today. Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller. Anyone else has this controller? If so what do you think of it.

Hopefully the trailer will be done soon (its getting build) and I can pick it up from Mcadoo, PA.

I got the P3 a few weeks ago and just used it last weekend for the first time when I pulled a 23' toybox. Weight was close to 8700lbs. Worked perfectly. The boost feature is a nice touch.

I got it about a year ago. The buttons crapped on it but they replaced it for free no questions asked. It's a good controller. I think I paid 90 bucks w/ the harness from our local trailer dealer (we have an account). It does it's job, biggest trailer it's had to stop is 14K lbs and it worked well. I've never towed with a built in one on a 150 so I couldn't compare.

I am extremely pleased with my Prodigy, so the P3 should be great.

I have to call etrailer tomorrow to have the P3 replaced. The down button is sticking. Hopefully I wont have any issues which I doubt I will when I just bought it a few days ago.
