Camper Message Board ?

Just wondering what message board you like for all your camping needs ? I would like a link to one that high has traffic for all my Newbie questions.

I use RV.net it is definitely high traffic and some very helpful people out there.

RV.net is probably the best one out there. It is the same thing to campers as F150online is for Ford trucks.

Yes I do, mainly for the reassurance. My previous Tow Vehicle was a 2001 Dodge Durango, so I needed the extra help. The F150 is able to stop the trailer on its own, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I doubt the uses of brakes for the reassurance only... that thing has to weigh close to what the DOT requires to have brakes, no?

You are correct there also. I have read that there is a law requiring trailers of certain weights to have brakes. I don't recall what those numbers are. My trailer weighs 2450 dry and has a GVWR of 3500. Law or not, brakes make me feel better towing.
