Pull it, yes, once. Buy it to pull every month with any 1/2 ton, no. You'll be over 9000 pounds travel ready. Not enough power. Not enough rear axle, spring, and GVW ratings.

GVW on that is probably close to 10k. Maybe yes if you have the 8200lb GVW option on your truck, which you don't since you have a screw. So obviously no, that is 250 territory.

Wow that is really huge. I pull a 24ft enclosed loaded up to max about 7500 ls. You are talking about 2k more weight (loaded) and over 50% longer!! Personally, I think that's insane. You really need a superduty for that.

Superduty time with a V10 or a diesel, or get a smaller camper.

I'd pull it for fun, why not. Problem is people run into is the length throws them and/or the weight. As long as you drive with that always on the mind, you'll be fine.

Until some idiot pulls out in front of you and stops! You have to try to perform an emergency maneuver with 40' of heavy camper behind you that is way over CGVWR. We'll see you on the evening news. SD territory with a long wheelbase.... think crew cab long bed.

No.

Dude!

Not even close. The 7400 pound dry thing gave it away. Your rig would comfortably tow a trailer with 7400 as a TOTAL loaded weight... and it would struggle up steep grades. But you would be in good shape.

That trailer is likely to approach 9000 when loaded up... don't do it.
