Curtis73, you got any info on that front hitch? better pics?

My dad could really benefit from something like that.

That's actually an old F150. My current F150 is basically identical except its a Scab shortbed. The current F150 doesn't have a front hitch so I can't show you better pictures, but they're commonly available from the aftermarket. Reese makes them for all F150 styles from the 70s to current. Valley and Hidden Hitch also make them for F150.

When my mower needs service, this is what I tow, my 1100 lb Ferris ZTR and it's trailer.

Here's what I just picked up. It's a 32' KZ MXT Toy Hauler. I was very impressed with the way the F150 handled it, although my trip computer says I'm only getting 9 mpg while towing.

Trailer weighs 1800lbs, sod weighs about 6000lbs total(4 pallets).

Working on getting some add-a-leafs, then regearing to 4.10s or 4.56s. Don't do much hwy and planning on a lift/35"s.

Here is my trailer that I upgraded. Basically I just haul scrap metal with it and help friends move. Nothing fancy.

Talking

Just picked up the new trailer this past weekend!! I am so excited.

We had bought the thing last fall and left it at the dealer for winter. It's been a long wait and the kids and I slept in it Saturday even though it hit 0C over night .

You wouldn't believe what we woke up to this morning... SNOW !! Sure hope it warms up by May long weekend at least.

Anyway the camper is a brand new '07 Jayco 29A, 6500# GVWR, rear and side slide, quad bunks. I thought the 150 might look a little small hooked to it but now I think she looks and pulls good. What do ya think?
