Just Bought A 07 Ford F150 And Will Not Ever Own Another Truck, But I Have A Problem. All My Other Fords Have Had Towing Packages On Them And This One To Be Honest I Didnt Even Notice Till Last Night When I Took My Hitch And Ball Off Of My F250. What Do I Need To Make Mine Just Like Factory With What I Believe The 6/7pin Round Plug And The Flat 4 Wire Connector............i Only Tow A Triton Bass Boat And A Flatbed Trailer...thats It.....the Truck Has A Factory 4-way Flat Trailer Connector Allready Installed.thanks

 

If you want to go factory, you can purchase from Ford the kit that includes the 4/7 pin plugs and mounting bracket. This is basically a plug and play kit. It will plug into the existing wiring harness and the only bolts you have to deal with are the ones for the ground wire and for the mounting bracket. I believe it will plug into the same spot that the 4 pin you have now plugs into.
