Looking at the brochure, the campers are within your GCWR and tow capacity as long as you have the tow package (or AM equivalent), brake controller, and weight distribution hitch.

Looks like the greatest GVWR in the brochure is 6400. I would say you are within the towing range of your F-150 with any of those units.

Based on my experience alone, I would say the most trailer weight (GVWR) these newer F-150's with the 5.4L should tow is about 7,000, maybe 7,500.

You need a brake controller... Prodigy makes the most popular one and they work great with these trucks.

Go for it and have fun.

If the trannie cooler up front looks like this one and not smaller, you have the tow package.

You will also have 2 connectors for the trailer, a 4 pin and a 7 pin.

Which model(s) are you interested in? I've been eying the 232, myself. Take a look at RV Wholesalers for some great pricing. I read good things about that dealer W RV.net.

All Roo models should be fine for most F-150's. Since you have an FX4, you have the 5.4L and either 3.55 or 3.73 gears. You'll be fine with approriate weight distributing hitch and brake controller.

And a weight distribution hitch. Even with the tow package, the hitch is rated for 500/5000lbs tongue and tow weight without a weight distribution hitch. With a WD hitch it would be closer to 800/8000 (can't remember the max for your vehicle).

With WD he is good to 9900# trailer weight and 990 tounge weight. I tow a8500# TT that is 33'-11" long. It does a great job.
