trailer necessities

Im looking into getting a 14x7 double axle enclosed trailer. Will be used to haul my z400 and all my tools. It will basically be a mobile shop for it. So probably about 1500 to 2000 lbs on top of the trailer weight which is unknown. My f150 is a 4.6 with 35's and 4.88 gears, edge evo, intake and exhaust. Would there be any problems with my truck pulling this say through the mountain roads. Im thinking the gears will allow me to tow up a mountain but I have people telling me my truck cant handle it. Is this true?

What's going to happen is they will frown as you blow by their asses on the way up the mountain I would think with 4.88's you should be just fine towing a few thousand pounds up the mountain. A stock 4.6 has 3.5 or 3.73 gears and 32's i think so with 35's and 4.88's you should be hauling *** up the hills

4.88s with 35s will leave you just fine... Stock 4.6's usually have 3.55s and I ran mine with 33s. It towed everything just fine. Weight won't be your problem here, wind resistance will be.
