beefing up 2000 f150 4x4

Hello,
I have a 2000 f150 xlt, 4.6, 4x4, reg. cab.,135000 mi. I found a boat that I would like to buy, but the boat weighs #5500 & trailer another #1500, is there anything I could do to my truck so I wouldn't have to buy a new one? I love this truck. Could I put a tranny and rear from a f250 in her, and beef up the suspension? I would hate to have another truck payment!
Thank You;
Kevin

What gears to you have?

- auxiliary tranny cooler
- tranny temp. gauge
- add-a-leafs
- weight distribution hitch
- maybe even a Troyer custom tune for towing

No matter what you do, towing 7000# with a 4.6 is going to be kinda painful.
