flat towing a 2005 F-150

I wish to flat tow my 2005 F-150 4x4 with electronic shift. I would be interested in knowing if anyone is aware of an "aftermarket" switch that has a "neutral" location? If a neutral location is there, I could tow at ease.

You'd have to severely modify the shift motor AND the ESOF module to do that. It's much cheaper & easier to do what the owner's manual says: pull the rear d'shaft away from the rear axle & tie it up.

As I posted in the other thread.

You can't, as not only is the electronic shift not allowing you to unlock the transfer case, the front hubs have a default of locked. You would have to have the engine running the whole time to keep the hubs unlocked.
