lifted and towing?

lifted and towing?

i havent really lifted my truck much but i was wondering if i went with like 6" fabtech or somthing would my truck pull a trailer differantly i often pull a landscape trailer. anyway im just looking for a few opinions let me know thxs-mike

Lifted won't affect towing much other than using a longer drop for the ball mount. If you want the lift to fit larger tires, then all performance will take a hit because of the larger/heavier tires.

the lift wont effect it much, i pull a 7-8K toy hauler and i have aloot of lift

I have a 6" lift and 37s (35s would be a better fit) and pull cars pretty regualrly. I use a 8" drop hitch (10 would be better). 3.73 gears (mine) should really be changed out for 4.56s, but it works fine for me. If you are pulling heavy trailers, you won't want leveling (most kits lift front more than back) or you should add air bags to use during towing - towing nose high is not good under any circumstances.
