Well I finally got me a travel trailer 2 weeks ago. It's a 26' prowler bunkhouse model. I found it in Texas and pulled it home with no wd hitch and no trailer brakes alittle over 200 miles. My truck did rather well. It squatted the rear maybe 2-3 inches, I ran about 63 mph home with the cruise set and got about 10.5 mpg. Now before I do anymore serious towing with it, I need a wd hitch cause I know tongue weight had to be more than 500 lbs. (it's an 83 model). Where can I get one cheap?

 

Not sure about the cheapest place but I've been really happy with my Equalizer brand weight dist. hitch. I found an RV place that sold it to me wholesale over the net for $400ish. If you do a seach for it on here you will probably find a link.
