Trailer wiring problems

I have an 03 F-250. It has the 7 pin and the 4 pin connectors back at the hitch. Some has also tied in a 7 pin connector in the bed for a gooseneck. I hooked up my car hauler last night for the first time and I have trailer lights and thats it. I do not have 12volts at the 7 pin or the 4 pin at the hitch, and the 7 pin in the bed connector for the brake lights, turn signals. The electric brakes are not activating at all. Any hints on what to look for. Maybe bad connection somewhere, blown fuse somewhere? Any help to point me in the right direction would be great.

Thanks
Tim

What kind of brake controller are you using and does it have voltage?

There is a connector down near the OBDII port for hooking up your brake controller, or does your truck have integrated controller?

It has a drawtite controller. It is getting voltage to the controller. The red light is on when the brakes are depressed. I did verify voltage going to the controller also. In the rear it looks like a T connector was installed with the 7 and 4 pin connectors at the hitch. The gooseneck conncetor looks like it was added later. I guess when I get home today, I ned to verify if I am getting voltage on the wires at the T connector and go from there. It is just wierd to have voltage ont the Brown wire/park light and voltage on the constant 12V wire and have no voltage on the turn signal/brakes when you turn on the siganals or apply the brakes and nothing on the Blue controller wire at the plug .

OK, I'm confused. Are you saying that there is a splice into the wiring harness and a second 7-pin connector was installed for a gooseneck? What happens when you connect to the 7-pin connector under the bumper? Does it work correctly?

Like steve83 was trying to ask , you need to probly install the relays for the 12volts and trailer brake. from the dealer they are not installed but come in a kit in the glove box
