Well i just got all my paper work for my 33 ft FEMA trailer. We'll see how it is this monday. My son and i are heading over to VA to pick it up. Got my new weight distribution, new sway control, new prodigy. Got my plate and Insurance, and ready for a road trip. Heck i'm even going hook up with "F150Truckin" that i met down at Troyers last year.

I want to know how your experience goes. What did you have to do to bid? I've been looking for a fixer upper and these look like just what i'm looking for

All the trailers I looked at on the GSA auction site had bids on them that were higher than the prices for used trailers on local RV dealers lots. No thanks.

I was watching a previous GSA auction and several trailers at the Hope, Arkasas depot had bids over $20,000.00 before the end of the auction. The same trailer NEW from nearby RV dealers was selling for around $13,000.00. Be careful, be very careful. Do your research and know what price you should be paying for what you are bidding on.

I bought an Adventure Riverside 33ft with slide out dinete/sofa for $8560.00 I didn't think that was a bad deal for a $25,000.00 trailer... I will know more about it Monday morning when i pick it up.

Well i got her home, and lets just say i look like this . I'm very happy with my FEMA Trailer purchase. I got a good one! It needs some TLC, but everything works well. I must say the weight and distribution bars are a must. I also had the sway control, and the prodigy. It towed home like Butter... Except for the 7.3 MPG... But i was hammer down all the way through the mountains, etc... The whole trip was great, stayed the night at F150Truckin's place and had a perfect trip period. So i would, and might buy another trailer. If you want to get into a travel trailer cheap, and don't mind fixing a few things, this is the way....
