2004 5.5ft Bed Fifth wheel hitch?
For $3500 you can get the pullright auto slider. It is made for our trucks. I myself went with a TT instead of a 5er. All the 5ers I looked at put me way over GVWR for the truck. Even the smallest light weight ones have a 1000-1200 lb pin weight. You can't use WD on a 5er.
1000 pounds of pin weight + 300 pounds for the slider leaves you 300 pounds for people and cargo in the truck.
5th wheel RV's don't work for 1/2 ton pickups, no matter what Ford claims is possible.

I have a 2002 F150 SC, model 7700, and pull a 24ft Springdale 5th with no problems. And yes it has been weighed at the scales ,all weighs are within the spec for my truck. Slider hitch is appox 150lbs pin weight loaded 950 lbs
