Trailer Brake Controller

I have an 07 FX4 Supercrew, I need to connect brake controller.
Where is the best place to mount the unit?
Where does the harness for the controller connect?
Thanks....

I mounted mine at the very bottom of the dash. There is a screw that holds the bottom dash panel on. I used that screw, plus drilled another hole in the metal bottom of the dash panel. If you use a Tekonsha brake controller, all you have to do is purchase one of their harnesses for your truck. You should have the harness connection tucked up under your dash. My install took all of about 10 minutes, and was very simple.

PS - if you haven't already choosen a brake controller, I strongly suggest at least a Prodigy. Even better would be a Jordon or BrakeSmart.
