I have a 2005 F-150 Fx4 4x4 FlairSide and i was wondering how much can it tow with my trailer package? 10,000 Pounds or 13,000 THANKS!

 

13,000 would be closer to the combined weight of the truck, trailer and stuff.

I'm not familiar with the actually towing capabilities of the new f150's but I think properly equiped they'll tow about 9500# tops.

 

It depends on the model and what rear you have. It is probably maxed at somewhere between 8 & 9k.

 

If you want to hitch a #10000 trailer to an F150, then you won't have much fun.....

I don't care what the "tow rating" says..... In the real world you will never get to that "tow rating" figure... AND stay under any other weight rating that your truck has.....

yeah i've been in my co-workers 5.4l f150 when the powerstroke was in the shop and he pulled our 7k lb trailer and yes it pulled it but it didn't like it!!

 

Need engine, axle ratio, and what cab you have to find tow rating.
