1995 factory tow harness - configuration?

I have a 1995 F150 which, despite having a manual transmission, supposedly has the factory tow package. The trailer connector was sheared off by previous owner backing into/over something, so I'm redoing it.

A set of wires is mounted below the bottom of the dashboard in a 6-place connector with 5 pins, and I suddenly realised that this might be the factory tow package wiring (colors look right; one is electric brake blue - others are red, white, brown & light green). "Le Manual de Useless de Chilton" fails to admit that any such wires exist. Description of the factory tow package in the owners manual is too vague to include such details, too. Can anyone confirm that this is the factory tow wiring, circa 1995? I looked through the manual, and I do appear to have all the relays and fuses for a factory tow package installed.

The odd part is that the brake controller and connector were wired in a fashion which utterly ignored this set of wires - nothing was plugged into that end. Also, I'm pretty sure that the 3-wire round extension cord for the brake/power/ground and a 4-wire flat plug-in Tee device in the taillight harness (with the ground wire removed) are not the factory tow wiring...

Since I'm about to fix the wiring, any tips on locating the end of the factory harness that should be at the back of the truck would be appreciated. If it's there, I'd just as soon use it - I'm not overly confident of the wiring skills of the person who installed the curent setup. I can't see any free wires - do I simply need a better Tee device which has all 7 wires, or am I looking in the wrong place (there are not that many wire bundles to choose from back there).

Mind you, it's a not much of a tow vehicle (GTW is limited to 3500 lbs with the manual tranny), but I'd like to have it set up right (missed out on a potential deal as I was trying to figure out how I'd get said deal home legally, where a working tow setup would have done it).

Any help would be appreciated.
