Receiver question....

On the receiver hitch for the 04 F-150, thier are two brackets, left and right bolted to the frame. MY insurance adjuster beleaves thease brackets are built with a slight indentation to clear were the leafspring conencets to a bracket on the frame.

All the brackets, bolts and frontal area of the Receiver hitch ( behind the bumper ) are bent up.

My brackets are clearly buckeld in my opion, It's late and I don't want to get caught crawling under trucks at a ford lot, if you have an opion, let me know.

hit from behind at 10 to 20 mph has to some damage even if the hitch was the only contact area.

I dpon't want to tow any trailer with my truck right now.
