Torsion leveling hitch
Do you mean something like this
If so, then think of the handles on a wheelbarrow as being the bars of the hitch. When you attach the chains to the trailers A frame, it puts tension on the bars essentially lifting the rear of your truck up. Some of the weight is then distributed to the front axle and some is distributed back onto the trailer axles.
This is how you get rid of the 'sag' you get when you just plunk down the trailer on the hitch and all of it's tongue weight is on the rear end of the truck.
This not only levels out the truck, but it also makes the entire combo work together so that you can tow much more comfortably and not be bouncing all over the place on uneven roads and such. While it's not considered a true "sway control" device, I say it does reduce sway to some extent if you compared it to towing without the setup at all.
Hope that makes sense....

Thanks. Thats helps alot. I recentely had my 16' car trailer stolen and I am now borrowing a 18' trailer for towing my Cobra to shows. And when I put the car on the 18' trailer the back of the Expedition sagged alot more than the 16' trailer. I have a lead on a used 18' trailer with this hitch and was wondering if it would help with the sag.I really dont need an 18' trailer a 16' does just fine but if this hitch helps it might be worth it. Thanks for you help
