Off topic I know but you all gotta agree...
I say when Mitch gets to the 2,000th post we throw him a big party! In every (or almost every) post he is very nice to everyone and gives lots of information. All of which I bet has been re-typed by him many times over, unless he has it all on word processer and copies and pastes it! Any who Mitch I think you are one of the best posters on www.f150online.com that I have seen. Keep up the good work man we love hearing from you.

And plus hes gotta great set up with his truck and trailer... A+++

I agree.

He's the one that first answered my questions about towing and got me setup. Very helpful.

Keep up the good work, Mitch!

Thumbs up

Wow guys, thanks for the compliments! Never had a post about me before.

I do seem to spend most of my time and posts in this forum (no life I guess, ha, ha.. )....

I think it's because I've been exposed to this stuff since I was a kid. Dad bought a brand spanking new 1971 F250 in 1970 (I was 7 years old, oh *****, that really dates me, huh....). But man, that was the best truck in the world in my mind! Even before he got the plates, he was welding on that 2" receiver to tow trailers with! He had the bed all scratched up before then too! Helped him with all the maintenance. Even swapped out the motor over a weekend later on in it's life. (he's still got that truck to this day too!)

Since I've been a member here, I've always enjoyed being able to share my experiences with those that have questions that I can answer. Don't know if that makes me egotistic or not, but I don't do it for the praise, just the experience.....

Again, thanks for the acknowledgement that my presence here is appreciated and I'll probably make that 2000 th post soon!!

Mitch

Mitch,
Here's my pitch to the 2,000th post! Your knowledge is appreciated and we do, all, thank you!

This is the appreciation you so richly deserve yet so seldom receive.

Thanks!
Curt

I will add my thanks to Mitch for all of his advice. Every reply that I have ever read from him has been spot on. Nice to have a level head in the mix.
