Question supercrrew & 5th wheels

Can a 5th wheel be mounted in the bed of a 03 supercrew and if so can you pull a 28' rv with the 5.4.

5th wheel

Yes, but you have to look for a "Titanium" (brand name) model. Ron Hoover RV in Houston, Tx. used to sell them. Also you will need a "slider" on the 5th wheel connection. Good luck.

It can and has been done, but Ford and most RVers don't recommend it. The placement of the pin isn't ideal. The payload of your truck will most likely be overlaoded (GVWR) too. It isn't a matter of the engine being capable, but the truck chassis, suspension, brakes, etc.
