towing with older f-150

I have a 93 f-150 w/302 auto od, 3.55 gear and am wondering if it is capable of pulling a 23 ft Layton TT that weighs 3900#. The truck has a receiver hitch and an electronic brake controller that was installed by a U-Haul dealer several years ago. THe trailer had the load leveling setup and the friction stle sway control on it. The truck has never towed anything but a couple SeaDoos and 4 wheelers in the past. I am planning on a trans cooler in the VERY near future.
I have considered trading the truck but it only has 80k orig miles on it and it is paid for.

THx in advance

I would if it were mine, but I would have the tranny serviced first, fluid change, and get a good tranny cooler. If the truck is otherwise mechanically sound I think it would do alright.
