brown wire on 03 oem wire harness-brake controller
do i leave the brown wire-[illumination] unconnected as my tekonsha voyager only has 4 connecting wires? is this for controllers that have a illumination wire? thanks in advance-phil

hate to see you get left hangin here.
i am not 100% sure although i will tell you i am in the process of putting a tekonsha prodigy in my truck and the brown wire will not be used.
my assumption is that it would illuminate the unit if needed, and avail. circuitry was there.
