Question TT tongue wt

Hi

I use a wt. distributing hitch on my TT with a tongue wt. of approx: 400# No sway control needed...tows/handles great!

I have towed with my F250LD...with/without w d h. So i know the differences on this truck....so

Question..Lets say tow truck is a 03 F250 Super Duty. Naturally heavier springs/axles etc. Do you think the w d h is still necessary?

TIA for any info. OT
