The J.C. Whitney catalog has a wiring kit to upgrade to a 7 pin set up. Has anyone tried doing this or anything similar? The kit includes the harness/connector, fuses, and relays but I'm having a hard time believing it would be so simple. I was thinking about putting this kit on and then patching a set of auxiliary back up lights directly into the circuit.

 

7-pin conversion
