I have a 2013 Ford F150 XLT with the MyFord SYNC system. It stopped allowing me to use my contacts via voice commands to call. It advised me that the contacts did not load. I tried to re-install the cell phone and it shows the phone. It's a Samsung Galaxy G7. The MyFord does not allow me to load the contacts. I can call out using the phone key pad on the phone and I can receive calls. I tried my wife's phone and it does the same for her. Her phone, a Samsung Galaxy G7, works fine with her 2017 Expedition. What give? Is there an update?

 

I did some research I one guy said to just unhook the ground wire to the battery and wait 10 minutes. Just tried it and it worked. The cell phone contacts are loaded and I can now call using the voice system.
