When my Android is connected to SYNC via bluetooth and I receive a text message, my phone will ring, then the truck stops playing music, lets me know about my text with another ring and then waits a few seconds to start playing music again.

Do yall know how to turn off this alert? I want to be able to receive texts without sync stopping playback.

 

Yes, There is a way to turn this off.

Begin by pressing the "Phone" hard button, which brings you to the phone menu.

Then press the "settings" tab.

Then select "advanced".

Then select "Txt Msg Notification".

Now you can select either "On" or "Off".
