Text messages with iPhone?

Text messages with iPhone?
Has anyone been able to get the text messages to work with the iPhone?

The expert at my dealer told me that texting did not work on the sync. I don't know if he meant just with my Blackberry or on all phones.

i havent tried using it to send texts but with my droid x2 it has been receiving the texts and it speaks them to me through the sync system.

Nope. from what i've seen the iPhone is not supported for texting. When i try to use my iPhone 4 with SYNC the display reads phone not compatible.

I get the same thing bushtree. Hoping that the iOS 5 update maybe allows SYNC to read the messages.

Works on my Windows phone, but I prefer my phone's text to voice feature over Sync. Seems to be more intuitive.
