What's the hood (and front fenders) on the '13 made of?
I went to put my radio scanner in my new truck this afternoon and since I park in a garage, decided I'd put the little magmount antenna on the front fender. Wouldn't stick!
I presume either fiberglass or CF?
The antenna scrapes against my garage ceiling when I put it just ahead of the moonroof, but I'll live with that for a bit I guess. Someone on a radio forum I'm on put me on the trail of a fender mount for antennas that uses a bolt about 1/3 of the way along the LF fender (from the windshield end, going forward) as its base (EDIT: http://www.pro-fit-intl.com/Adobe/fo2antpf.pdf). See if I can get an antenna to fit that mount.

I guess it could be aluminum. It's non-magnetic, whatever it is ... mildly disappointing, but I'll live with it.
